How much time will it take for me to finish each painting?

Though this course is self-paced and you can go as fast or as slow as you need, past students have shared they've spent 4-8 hours completing each painting. Some like to spend one hour a week over 4-5 weeks on each painting, while others prefer 2-3 hour "creativity sessions."

Do I need painting experience to take this course?

Not at all. This course is designed to help beginners and hobbyists alike. Throughout the lessons, I share the problem-solving strategies I use to work through mistakes, uncertainty, and those moments when a painting doesn't seem to be coming together.

What supplies do I need?

You'll need basic acrylic painting supplies, a surface to paint on, and a few optional tools such as acrylic markers and oil pastels. A complete supply list is included inside the course.

Can I use my own photos?

Absolutely. While you'll paint along with the course projects, the goal is to give you a process you can use with your own travel photos, family memories, favorite landscapes, homes, and meaningful places.

How long will I have access to the course?

What if I get stuck halfway through a painting?

That's exactly what this course is designed to help with. Throughout the lessons, I share the problem-solving strategies I use to work through mistakes, uncertainty, and those moments when a painting doesn't seem to be coming together.

Is this appropriate for kids?

I am not speaking to children in this course but I think 13+ will be able to find success!

I don’t have a studio, will this take up space?

Many of my students completed their paintings at their kitchen table or a folding table in part of their house. I recommend finding a spot where you can keep your supplies out so returning to the work has as few barriers as possibe.

Will my work look just like yours?

I hope not! If you want it to look exactly like mine, then that’s okay but my hope is you choose your own subjects and colors. I want this to be YOURS.
